1. Wireless disabled on startup.

3. No wireless networks are listed, Just wireless is disabled listed.

Worked for me as well. However, I have an Intel Series 4 GPU (GM45).
Uninstalled anything with nvidia in the name and it was fixed. Note
that the reversed screen only happens with Desktop Effects enabled.
Disabling desktop effects immediately fixes the screen as well.

Also had a crash where I wasn't doing anything. In fact, the crash
occurred over night while the computer was idle. Thunderbird had been up
for a number of days, probably over a week.
