Copying To USB Is Very Slow

y after decades of using 1024 formula ubuntu changing for this the site
is centos website all the other sites display the same in the real
work can i go to a shop ask for a 730MB(or so) Blank CD...?? well all
the other worl except ubuntu uses 1024 formula y cant they use it. the
real world is
i have no complaints if the real world follows,, but as per now windows
dominate the market for my knowledge they havent changed so as per now
the real world will not follow,, well the teaching manual has to be
changed as well.. coz we learned that the 1024 is the write way ha
well we all
well im using ubuntu 12.04 its still there i meen its just stupid in
the real world this is wrong .. well a CD doesnt say 730MB or something
is satys 700MB .. so just stupid why did they changed it in the first
place . is there a workaround to this .. now im thinking will this
get carried to
im using ubuntu 12.04 the problem is still there hm

Incorrect units for file size in Nautilus

i have downloaded an ISO from centos site the size is 698MB as per the
site after i downloaded it it shows 730MB.. i have tested this by
downloading other files to .. the file size is shown wrong ( increases )
for all the files regardless of file type . im attaching
