In Tomcat 5.5 the default database connection pool factory class is 'org.apache.commons.dbcp.BasicDataSourceFactory', included in commons- dbcp.jar. So, the applications that didn't specify the dbcp factory class (the great majority, I guess) worked with no problems using tomcat 5.5 without tomcat-dbcp.jar in the 'commons/lib' folder. [Bug 93962] Re: black screen when close session
Well, after a couple of tests I found that the problem, at least in mi case, has to do with Beryl and not with GDM. If I repeat the steps posted above (see my previous post) using Beryl as the window manager, what happens is that the screen asking for the password to unlock the active session of user A goes blank. But even though the screen is blank I can type my password, press enter and return to the opened session. Same problem here. I'm using nvidia-glx driver on Feisty. The steps that produce the issue for me are: 1.- Log in as user A 2.- Press 'Switch User' 3.- Log in as user B. At this point, both sessions, A and B are active 4.- Close session B Then the screen goes blank.
