Fix that works for me: Find this line in /etc/default/grub, and edit it
to read as follows:

Same problem here, since 9.10 IIRC, and I also saw it on a laptop
recently, both currently running 10.10. Turning off ACPI in the BIOS
helps, but just makes it take more time for the problem to appear.
rmmod usbhid; modprobe usbhid also helps. but even after doing that, you

Same here. This version mismatch is preventing the installation of an
Apache module to run C#.net Mono applications. Left with xsp2 which is
very limited.
