[Bug 789541] [NEW] Grid plugin: only if the cursor gets near to the edge the window is scaled
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz-plugins-main I'm not sure whether this is the right package, please correct it if I got it wrong. The problem is this: when moving a window to e.g. the right edge of the screen, it should fill the right half of the screen with the grid plugin enabled. This only happens if the cursor (grabbing hand on the window's title bar) is close to the edge. So, if you grab the window on the far left side of the bar, it only gets scaled when the whole window has already disappeared into the right edge of the screen. [Bug 623055] Re: wxbanker crashed with IndexError in load_series()
I was prompted to report this by apport. I tried to reproduce it, but that didn't work. I did get another error, though, so for that I will file a separate bug report. Furthermore, I got the first start dialog again. All my data was saved, but apparently it didn't remember I had already used it sometime. This may have something to do with this crash, because on the third time I started wxbanker the dialog was not displayed. [Bug 551880] [NEW] [lucid] plymouth-theme-ubuntu-logo causes plymouth to hang
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: plymouth I already reported a bug about plymouth not working for me with nouveau. Since then there has been some improvements, as I can see plymouth now and my computer does boot. However: using the Ubuntu Logo theme from plymouth-theme-ubuntu-logo my computer won't boot. Plymouth is shown, all the dots become red and the screen stays like that until I press the power switch. I noticed my keyboard is turned off the moment the last dot becomes red. Removing the package plymouth-theme-ubuntu-logo solves the problem. The text based theme is displayed and the computer boots. If any additional information is required, I'll happily provide it. [Bug 518034] Re: [lucid] Plymouth hangs at boot
I think the duplicate status is wrong, because in that bug the kernel doesn't lock up. I'm not able to switch to another tty because my whole kernel freezes and no key presses are registered any more. Also, I don't have the freeze *when* plymouth is displaying the ubuntu logo but *after* it has vanished. Therefore, I don't think this is a duplicate of 510524. [Bug 486384] [NEW] [lucid] network connection timing out
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager I am using Lucid. ;-) I noticed that sometimes the wireless internet connection seems to be lost, pages take ages to load and eventually I get a timeout error. When I reconnect to the network via the network manager, everything starts working again for twoish minutes before it breaks again and I'm forced to reconnect. Didn't happen in any previous versions, so I'd say it's a regression. I also have another problem with wireless connectivity which I think is related (if not, I'll file another bug) - after resume from hibernation I can't reconnect to my network and I am forced to do a reboot.
