I'm building Wine from sources coz i dislike Wine from Ubuntu repo and PPA. So
i was not able to apt-get-install lmms until i created and installed my fake
empty wine.deb
if you are able to test it

Can you give me some really good reasons why this behaviour should be changed?
Imagine that user make-installed Wine from sources. Now apt-get install lmms
will lead to an error and most likely *buntu will try to send a crash report
hereinto.

Most of apps (incl. winecfg) produce grunting sound when there's more
than 2 channels. But even so Stalker CS (using OpenAL probably) produces
clear sound on 5.1 profile. Also Zandronum sounds clear (but with bug
#34887) when it uses dsound, but without dsound it grunts too.

Goldendict works even with Ctrl+F11+F11 enabled. I never had 11th
workspace in XFCE but encountered the bug earlier (see comment #2). Is

I just installed Goldendict on my mother's machine and it worked. Then i
sudo-apt-get-upgraded the machine (there were some libx* updates among
others), rebooted it and then Goldendict stopped working.

Wine associated program loads too slow
IMHO making all Shutdown buttons in various *DEs work like Logout then
shutdown can workaround or even fix many bugs including this one, especially
for linux newbies. But it's a task of *DEs developers, not only Ubuntu/Unity
ones.
