Tested on Fedora 31 (linux 5.3.7) from a Live session, works ok. What has been specifically tested: echo freeze | sudo tee /sys/power/state -> goes to soft suspend mode; power led turns off; on pressing the power button, resumes without error echo mem | sudo tee /sys/power/state -> goes to suspend mode; power led turns off; on pressing the power button, resumes without error echo disk | sudo tee /sys/power/state -> fails to hibernate (power led remains on, had to hard shutdown the laptop) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1866195 Title: Can not resume after suspend on HP Spectre x360 13 aw0xxx (late 2019) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-5.4/+bug/1866195/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 880686] [NEW] No obvious way to disable the startup sound
Public bug reported: In oneric, it is possible to disable the ubuntu startup sound in the Startup applications menu (cf bug #840858). I think most users expect instead to find this setting in the sound menu of the system settings panel, and I suggest to add there the option to disable it as well. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/880686 Title: No obvious way to disable the startup sound To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/880686/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
