Oh, yes! i believe the both of them are related, but it seems that there's different behaviours depending on the backend driver (uvcvideo, pwc and gspca). Hi, i'm converting this back to a bug because i was hit several weeks ago just after upgrade from HARDY to iNTREPID ALPHA. I've check bug #59392 but i'm not having segfaults. with sudo update-desktop-database -v i've got a lot of lacks MimeType key i'm attaching the output from the previous command. reinstalling ubuntu-desktop didn't helped. if i run nautilus file:///home/andres/Desktop from a terminal it would work OK. It won't remember it no matter what. This is really annoying, since now I have to type in BOTH my gnome-keyring password and my WEP key for my home network every time I start my computer. Mar 25 16:53:11 localhost NetworkManager: information^IActivation (wlan0/wireless): access point 'xxx' is encrypted, but NO valid key exists. New key needed. Then I give it the key and it works fine. I can't wait for the next version without gnome-keyring, but hope this problem gets fixed before then!
