@Igor I spoke to soon. the sddm support on arch with pam is super buggy. @Timur Hm I have a rectangular reader and it seems to make all the difference. It would appear that the driver is not all that accurate so needs a bigger image to validate the swipe. Thanks very much Igor. This now works on the xiaomi mi 13.3 laptop. I was able to capture a fingerprint and also verify / store it. Any idea how to use it with sddm / kde though?
