I've realised that the extensions are available in the Ubuntu repositories but not installed by default like in Windows version of LO. After successfully configuring from the network manager, the modem would not connect. The modem started to work only after manually entering the both usename and password as internet. This should have been done automatically as many new users would face difficulty in doing it manually. Recently I upgraded to Natty from Maverick. When I logged into UbuntuOne client and tried to sync my Cloud Folders it started to download/upload all the files. Since all the files in my system and in the Cloud are the same, there was really no need to download/upload all the files. A better system should been similar to rsync where only the changed files are copied. However, deleting a column or a row from merged cells results in the remaining cells not being merged anymore, also sometimes losing the existing text. Steps to recreate this: 1. Merge 3x3 cells. (Can be any no of cells) 2. Insert some text. (Not really required) 3. Delete a row or a column from the merged cell. 4. This will result in the remaining cells to lose out on the merged format. The text may also be deleted. This issue is not in the original OO 3.2 released by Sun/Oracle but is in GoOo which has affected Ubuntu and other distros using GoOo.
