[Bug 1737380] [NEW] Grub Package failed to install on fresh install.
Public bug reported: I am trying to install Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS AMD64 dual booting with Windows 7 using UEFI, but the installer crashed when trying to install the grub package. Win 7 is on it's own HDD and Ubuntu on a different HDD. What am i missing, in that i am running 10.10 behind a proxy with no auth - but i can't sync notes? Fixed it by removing xrdp and associated dependencies (vnc4server and vnc4-common), installing tightvnc and then installing xrdp (which then doesn't use vnc4). i have this exact problem on Jaunty. During boot the LED is on the the numpad produces numbers. this continues to the Gnome login screen (can login using the numpad with the light still on). Then as soon as i have logged in and ahve a desktop - the LED is off but the numlock is actually on. The numlock button changes the LED to on then - but actually turns the numlock off.
