[Bug 1453549] Re: Cannot publish to Facebook

2015-10-15 Thread Sebastian Gebhard
Hi Alberto,
thanks for looking into this. Indeed, I do not have these settings.

I am on Xubuntu and System Settings / Online Accounts is not installed
by default. A quick search makes me think, that it might be provided by
package ubuntu-system-settings-online-accounts, but installing it looks
like it needs to install the complete Unity environment.

Is this really how it is supposed to work or did I not get that
correctly?

[Bug 1453549] Re: Cannot publish to Facebook

2015-10-15 Thread Sebastian Gebhard
I have just tested 0.20.2-0ubuntu4 from vivid-proposed.

It does not fix the issue for me. When I try to "publish" pictures, I do not
even have the option of publishing to Facebook anymore.
The only option is "Piwigo" or "Add more accounts" (translated from German).
When I click on "Add more accounts", the dialog window closes and nothing
happens.

See attached screenshot.

[Bug 1500751] Re: Cryptsetup Keyboard not working on Xubuntu 3.19.0-30

2015-10-11 Thread Sebastian Gebhard
I have had the same problems on my machine.

For me kernel 3.19.8-031908ckt7-generic works and fixes the issue (as
proposed by Guy Taylor).

[Bug 1452318] Re: Faulty behavior when resuming from suspend

2015-09-24 Thread Sebastian Gebhard
I could not test 3.19.0-30 or 3.19.0-29, because my machine would not
boot properly.

I guess there are still some other problems in these versions. In my case:
- I cannot boot, because I cannot unlock my luks-root-partition during regular
startup
- In recovery mode, I can unlock my luks-root and boot.

In both cases, I can't use a video mode other than 640x480 (during
initrd and in the booted system).

I am also affected by this bug.

And for me also kernel version 4.3.0-040300rc2-generic fixes it.

[Bug 1452318] Re: Faulty behavior when resuming from suspend

2015-07-02 Thread Sebastian Gebhard
This bug is affecting me too. I can confirm that the SNA approach is
working as a workaround, but as said before, performance is heavily
impacted.

My system has a Intel Broadwell processor with integrated Intel Graphics
(5xxx-series). I did not have the problems on my Haswell system with
Intel Graphics 4xxx-series.

Also an interesting thing: The bug only occurs when using XFCE. I could
not reproduce it using gnome-shell!

I have the same problem!

A fresh install of Xubuntu. After two boots, icons disappeared.

Currently, I can see the bluetooth and owncloud icon, but Network
Manager and Battery is missing (although I can tell that Network Manager
is running).

One of the items that can be added to the panel is: Indicator Plugin
That will indicate Bluetooth, Wifi, battery status, volume

Oh wow, it worked, thank you!

Workaround works for me too! But still, this is not the way it should
behave!

[Bug 1191105] Re: 13.04 Hangs When nfs Mounts Present In /etc/fstab

2013-09-11 Thread Sebastian Gebhard
I am running into the same issue here.

System is hanging on boot with the same behaviour, same log output to
/var/log/upstart/statd.log. Also there is no
/var/log/upstart/idmapd.log.

[Bug 1184321] [NEW] thunderbird always crash on startup - user independent

2013-05-26 Thread Sebastian Gebhard
Public bug reported:

Thunderbird always crashes on startup. This behaviour happens for all
the users on this PC, also if they don't have any thunderbird-profile
yet.

We have similar systems in our whole office. The Ubuntu installation is
rsynced to all desktops (Some also have exact same hardware), but none
of the other desktops has this problem.

A gdb trace is attached.

I have no idea where this is coming from. The previous version of
thunderbird (17.0.5) also behaved in the same way.
