moment 10.4 is released

Just performed a check on my 1TB partition (I use it in my Gentoo home server).
The partition is one year and one month old
917GB total, 871GB used, 37GB free, 10GB reserved
it is used as storage for audio and video files and for rtorrent.

It's a shame Ubuntu can't get hostname from DHCP server. It's 2010. Bug is
almost three years old.
But before I read the comments I didn't realize that X server may be affected
by hostname change.
Any thoughts how can this be handled? I really want this fixed.

Installed: 2.28.1-0ubuntu1
3) Just installed 9.10. Installed awesome window manager. Created
/etc/hal/fdi/policy/10-x11-input.fdi to have two keyboard layouts and
switching with Ctrl+Shift. Restarted HAL. Logged out.
