This morning I updated to the latest version of Thunderbird.
I use Lightning 1.8 with Provider for Google Calendar 0.18pre to synch
my agenda with Google.
Since that update, Thunderbird completely freezes shortly after
starting.
I can restart without the extensions, and
Frech install of Linux Mint 13 Mate and just ran into this problem (with
a docx file). So this bug has still to be considered as open (and a
major problem).

Strange thing happening here: I've installed Ubuntu 10.10 a first time
