I am having a similar issue in 18.04 and 18.04.1. I am trying to netboot
and retrieve the install files from nfs or http. I have seen a few
others have similar issues: https://askubuntu.com/a/1031024/837404 .
When I try to install, it says that I am missing files, but when I check
the apache logs,

This is a network manager bug, as it affects a Gentoo system of mine
running Gnome. The problem is that Network Manager helpfully sets the
hostname, which confuses a lot of programs.

window moves to the right. This behavior continues until the window is
adjacent to the right edge of the screen.
