[Bug 694954] [NEW] Search Window TextBox disappeared

2010-12-28 Thread SrikanthM
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: unity

From Desktop (Minimize all windows, if you have any). Go to Top panel
Menu, Select Places -- Search For Files ...

That will open the Search Window, but no Text box is there.

I am using Acer Aspire 4720z

Please find the attached Screen shot for the same.

From any other File Manager window if i select Go -- Search For Files..
, Thats giving Search Box OK.

[Bug 694267] [NEW] Unity Panel is not maintaining Single instance

2010-12-25 Thread SrikanthM
Public bug reported:

I have added Skype and xChat icons to Unity Panel using Keep in Launcher
option.

When i close the Skype/xChat window and Open again, its not openign the
existing instance rather opening New instance.

Empathy is working fine for the same scenario. So I would guess Skype
xChat should also work in the same way.

Could not find any help in mentioned places, hence logging this as Bug.

[Bug 332355] Re: Empathy doesn't alert to new email messages

2009-10-29 Thread SrikanthM
Empathy is the default IM comes with 9.10. Its a basic functionality to notify
the users if they login to IM. Is there any chance that this bug will be
reconsidered and provide the solution.
I would at least expect the workaround for this small requirement.
