[Bug 1073397] Re: unityLoaded never gets called

2012-11-04 Thread Stefan Sommer
Thanks. I get the first initialization alert but it fails on
isCorrectPage(). With Firefox's inspector I can see that the body
element contains elements with id=js_frame and id=hist_frame but the
script fails to find any of them. Is it possible that the document is
not correctly passed to the script? I'm not very versed in javascript so
I'll be happy e.g. mail you my html.

Btw., I'm using google apps if it makes any difference.

[Bug 781556] Re: bluetooth discovery fails: no devices found during scan

2011-05-29 Thread Stefan Sommer
A workaround is described here:
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1584388. Boot in Windows, turn
on bluetooth, turn off bluetooth/wifi in hardware with fn-12, and boot
in Linux. This is just a workaround; it's suboptimal having to install
Windows to get working bluetooth.

create by aticonfig. I have applied the bios update btw.

[Bug 767975] Re: Video does not return after sleep with AMD E-350 Fusion APU and ATI closed driver (Natty Narwal Beta)

2011-05-23 Thread Stefan Sommer
With the latest kernel from the ubuntu kernel git repositories
(2.9.39rc7) and catalyst 11.5, I got it to suspend and resume a few
times. It's very unstable - most times it doesn't suspend as mentioned
above. I tried with 'aticonfig --acpi-services=off' but I'm not sure it
made a difference. Attached is the kernel log from a successful attempt.
