The PR was merged in upstream, I backported the fix to gamemode 1.5.1-3, which landed in Debian on Monday. @seb128 you may want to drop or rebase the changes in the Ubuntu package. If everything goes right 1.5.1-4 should come around soon as well, so you might as well just wait for that. --
