[Bug 1841321] Re: Curtin Fails to Validate Storage Config with Crucial P1 NVMe drive

2019-10-19 Thread Stewart Johnston
@ryan I did, but the message was so generic I took it to be the same one
as before.

Message was:

An error has occurred

  curtin command block-meta
removing previous storage devices

[Bug 534853] [NEW] apt-cacher-precache.pl defaults to debian repositories

2010-03-08 Thread Stewart Johnston
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: apt-cacher

The experimental apt-cacher-precache.pl script has a filter to only
precache packages from certain repositories. By default these are etch
testing.

In Ubuntu, they should probably be main and universe.

This can be overridden with the -d argument, but perhaps it should work
with ubuntu defaults in ubuntu?

Make a config file in your ~/.config/terminator directory and add this line:
force_no_bell=True

See the man page for terminator_config for more information too -
there's a heap of configurable options there.

OK - will add force_no_bell to my config tomorrow.
It definitely behaves in a different way to 0.12 though - is this intentional?
If so, I will mark this bug as invalid.

[Bug 445052] [NEW] Terminator window flickers when using tab completion or deleting text

2009-10-06 Thread Stewart Johnston
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: terminator

Terminator flickers when I use tab completion. When typing a command
or a path, pressing tab once will make the screen flicker or flash white
for a second. Pressing tab a second time will complete the command as
normal.

I can also reproduce the flickering by opening a terminator window and holding
the Backspace key.
I am unable to reproduce the issue on v0.12-2, but it seems to be present on
0.13

This happens with transparency and without.

Rename the folder on the Desktop, removing the first period (.)

The folder does not show up until a logout/login again/restart nautilus
