When making SIP calls with Ekiga, we experience 3-5 times higher
processor loads than using another SIP client on the same system for
comparison.

Ekiga crashes during incoming and outgoing SIP calls when registered with Cisco

In contrast to previous versions of Ekiga (e.g. successfully tested
under Ubuntu 8.04 with the outdated Ekiga version from that time) , V
3.2.5 under Ubuntu 9.10 does not allow calls through an active VPN
tunnel established with vpnc. Ekiga
