I can confirm this bug for Ubuntu 18.04. with 0.0.svn13576+dfsg-3 too.
Really disappointing...
Workaround with manually starting it as flieller suggest works. :)

The problem dissappeard for me after using the Ubuntu 16.04. HWE-Kernel
instead the default one.

As stated in #94 after changing from the Ubuntu Kernel to the HWE-Kernel
[1], i haven't experienced this bug anymore.

Affected by this bug too. Almost daily when coming back from the lunch
break i have to logoff and login to have my fonts back...

We are affected by this bug too. HTTP SSL Tests no fail under Valgrind,
so we have to disable those tests. Unsatisfying situation.
