Tried kernel 4.13.10 to no avail. Seems my adapter is slightly different. It does not show up as disk. Instead it is recognized as WLAN device immediately. Error msg is also different. There is no probem with Ubuntu 10.10 but the problem happend too with Ferdora 15.
