Hi Dario, Can you please provide some more information as I could not
reproduce this.
1. What Ubuntu version as you running?
2. What type of network location are you accessing, smb, afp or something else?
3. If you could provide a screen shots of what you are seeing that might also
be useful.
These strings have been in GTK upstream for years. It seems there must
be something wrong with the way they are being imported.
The following are links to the current translations in GTK git master.

The only thing I can spot different from other translations is this
string: #, fuzzy
Would this stop translations from being imported?

Sounds like a classic race condition.
You probably wont see this on your Netbook as they generally have slow single
core processors. This type of race condition is more likely to happen on a
multi core computer were one process can starts up faster than another process.
