Overview:
When snmpd is configured to show a limited view of oids using VACM, it is

Tested on 5.7.2~dfsg-8.1ubuntu3.2 on Mint 17.1 (aka Ubuntu 14.04) and
5.7.3+dfsg-1ubuntu4 on Ubuntu 16.04.3
Steps to reproduce:
On three Shuttle XS35 V5pro machines (Intel Celeron N3050), running Mint Mate
17.1 during an 'apt upgrade' similar symptoms as above (system slowed down,
mouse pointer stopped working).
(These systems are all remote, so I'm going by second-hand accounts).
Machine then rebooted/crashed, and would
Is this related in any way to bug 1521134?
1521134 is marked fixed in 3.17.4 so I will test and see.
