[Bug 1441336] [NEW] GTK progress bar and long process

2015-04-07 Thread Triniton Adam
Public bug reported:

I have a radio tuner that scanning for available stations process will take a
while (maybe a 5 minutes) to complete.
When I call scan function, locks up (prevents user action), the progress bar
does not show any activity until the upload is complete, and then it abruptly
indicates upload complete.

[Bug 1329749] [NEW] Wrong GTK icon size for volume?

2014-06-13 Thread Triniton Adam
Public bug reported:

I'm using Gnomeradio on Ubuntu 14.10. The problem has been nagging me for some
time it has not appeared with Ubuntu 14.04.
The problem is that the volume icon has the wrong appearance: is is using small
icons for the toolbar icons.
Is there a reason for Gnomeradio to use a different size as a source for the
volume icon than the other buttons of the toolbar?

[Bug 1256796] [NEW] Please port gnomeradio to GSettings

2013-12-01 Thread Triniton Adam
Public bug reported:

Package: gnomeradio
Version: 1.8-2

With GNOME 3.0 (april 2011), the GNOME Project decided to discontinue GConf.
It won't be maintained anymore: bugs and security holes will not be fixed.
Thus, gnomeradio shouldn't depend on GConf any longer.
Please, migrate to GSettings.
GStettings is the official GNOME replacement for GConf, and the GNOME
project
is porting all of its applications to
it:https://live.gnome.org/GnomeGoals/GSettingsMigration

[Bug 1082423] [NEW] Use Gnomeradio as desktop file Name

2012-11-23 Thread Triniton Adam
Public bug reported:

Actually the name of application is displayed as FM-Radio Tuner :)
See screenshot

As discussed in various places we shouldn't use the generic name in the name
field in the desktop files:
http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/xdg/2009-July/010807.html

We should also have consistency between the Name field, the name used in the
titlebar, the name used in the application menu (gnome-shell), the
about box, and the documentation.

Can we change the name in the desktop file to reflect this?
