Is the fix of adding the RT2870.dat file to the /etc/Wireless/RT2870STA/
directory used in conjunction with the shipped driver, or are there
other steps required? (ie: compiling a new driver, etc).

Just installed 9.10 64-bit from scratch and the same is happening with
the nvidia-graphics-drivers-185 driver.
ie:
1. Mount a filesystem by going places somefilesystem
2. Filesystem icon appears on secondary screen (left in my case)
3. File browser window automatically opened on secondary
Hmm - does this need to be cloned for 9.10 / nvidia-graphics-drivers-185
?

I'm running 3.13.1 from the devede site, and the problem is still there.
Creating a disc and adjusting disk usage creates an iso about
1.7-2.5GB, and not in the best quality.

FYI I updated to the new 1.80 nvidia driver and did the following, still
with the same results:
1. Deleted /etc/X11/xorg.conf
2. Restarted GDM to create a new xorg.conf
3. Ran sudo nvidia-xconfig
