Thank you for your work! I completely forget about this bug and just
didn't use suspend on my Ubuntu 12.04.
Today i found time to test 14.04 alpha:
Xubuntu 14.04 daily build (07.01.14)

Suspend mode activation and resume works properly and very fast.

Faced this strange bug today.
When i enlarged side panel to right and two rows of thumbnails appeared i was
unable to downsize it. Situation repeats when i open that file again.

after waking up system works almost perfect except Mozilla Firefox (12 version,
may be 13 too, didn't check). It starts to load processor and grow in memory
without any cause. So be careful.

I'm very sorry for late message, i think i became really slowpoke for the last
time. I should have post this here many time ago.
I revisited Ubuntu and WinXP wlan configurations and found that wireless in
ubuntu is depending on WinXP Wireless Zero Configuration set up.
I mean WinXP-Control Panel-
I'm very sorry for my slowpokeness.
intel_idle.max_cstate=3 is really the salvation for the problem as i checked on
my netbook.

I've spent a week on reading and trying, but have got nothing. May be I'm not

wi-fi. I opened two bug reports and have been told to provide kernel bisection
to find out what patch causes problem with wireless devise.

First time this problem appeared when i updated to natty.
Wireless is turned on in BIOS. Hardware switch in on.

OK, wi-fi doesn't work with kernel v. 3.3.1.
I think i'll file a new bug after next reboot course apport doesn't want to do
it with 3.3.1.

i've just done it. I looked through the list of kernels and chose 3.3.1 as it
was not marked as daily build or rc and it has most recent date.
I installed kernels image and two headers package. Rebooted. And found my
problems remained.
Yes, i had this problem with all distributions since

it is seems that Vaclav solved his problem by turning wi-fi on in Windows. But
read my post below, i have precise beta installed and its kernel cannot get
ath9k to work. You can see what i've tried to do.

i see that status of this topic is "incomplete" , but i'm interesting in

Well, i've made my own investigation. Here's the result, and the main is
that my wi-fi (ath9k) doesn't work.

Wireless in BIOS is turned on
I turned on Atheros in Windows XP
and edit blacklist.conf in this way:
# wifi - drivers conflict
blacklist iwlagn
blacklist ath9k
by pushing hardware sw
Same situation: Lenovo S10-3 - precise beta.
Cannot unblock phy0. Network applet showing that wireless support is
disabled by hardware switch.
According to notices about drivers conflict (found in another topic) i
added to blacklist.conf:
blacklist iwlagn
blacklist ath5k
Then rfkill changed his
