GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash i915.enable_dc=0
intel_idle.max_cstate=2"

however, the adaptives keys stays on, and the system does not respond to

Needing forced shutdown instead this might be related with usb2/usb3
automatic routing

[Bug 966074] Re: chromium browser didn't load java applet, and chrashed the java plugin

2012-05-27 Thread void
Same here.

I think I've found the same issue reported in the upstream bugtracker:
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=125815
I wonder if it's appropriate and possible to add that report as an upstream
here...

[Bug 954117] Re: compiz close animation is leaking window handles

2012-03-26 Thread void
I can confirm the leaking of window handles. If I have closing
animations enabled - handles leak. If I disable (remove from the
plugin's list) all closing animations - handles do not leak. I haven't
seen any significant memory leaking however. My config's a bit different
though:

video card: ATI Radeon HD4670
driver: fglrx
compiz: 1:0.9.6+bzr20110929-0ubuntu6.2vv1 (from Daniel van Vugt's PPA
https://launchpad.net/~vanvugt/+archive/compiz)

I remember when I was using radeon driver though, compiz memory usage
would bloat from about 100M to 500M in 1 day uptime (usual activity, no
stress tests or anything). So maybe that's the cause...

[Bug 770283] Re: [fglrx]title bar does not update on non-maximized windows

2011-12-21 Thread void
title updates normally when the window's width is greater than certain
limit (#24)

Wow, that's actually true! Just checked it myself: on my narrow pidgin
window title does not update normally, but when I made it wide enough,
titlebar started to update normally. After shrinking the window,
titlebar does not update again.

[Bug 110428] Dspam Not escaping first dot of a line while forwarding to smtp or lmtp

2007-04-26 Thread Void
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: dspam

Dspam is not escaping the first dot of any line while forwarding result
to lmtp and smtp (as I've seen from source, it seems to be the same code
portion).

This could lead to dataLoss Because each line starting with a dot must
have this dot dropped whatever follows...

so some url splitted on multiline will have missing dots or other
problems.

in binary transfert encoding, this could even be worse.

** Affects: dspam (Ubuntu)
