I'm attaching the contents of sudo systemctl status as a text file.
It appears that I can actually launch software-properties, but only as
sudo. The direct link in the Ubuntu menu won't work.
It seems it is more related to dbus, but I am not sure.

It seems that Nautilus has a very lame behavior when the user wants to
copy ~200 MB of fonts.

Open Nautilus with root permissions.
Go to /usr/share/fonts/
There, copy about 200 MB of fonts in a subfolder.

was clickable, and nothing was accessible with the keyboard. No activity
on the hard drive was seen.

which are a bit concerning IMHO:
- Nothing in the game explains to the player how to unlock new tracks.
Players aren't supposed to discover how to do so in a lost line
