No progress on this issue in 20.04 beta :(
There is still no way to install an encrypted kubuntu in dual boot without
having to deal with the command line. That’s a no go for many users.
I’m not even asking for full encryption. The kubuntu installer should at
least be able to install an
oups, no progress on *20.10 beta* (of course 20.04 wasn't better).

Problem is still present in ubuntu 20.04.1 fresh install : keyutils is
missing and triggers this error when mounting with cifs:
CIFS VFS: cifs_mount failed w/return code = -2
This error is not explicit at all. It cannot be guessed that a package /
software is missing.

I had a squid config using c-icap to scan requests/responses using
ClamAV.
It was working OK since long time ago.
Today, squid has (security)updated to 3.5.27-1ubuntu1.7 and now,
connection to icap is broken.
That is the error at squid-cache.log

Engrampa randomly segfaults while I browse the files in a huge tar file.
More specifically, the SIGSEGV happens when I open a folder inside the
tar file.

I was trying to build my project using Clang++ instead of G++ and I got
this issue. I don't use libsdl2-ttf-dev inside my project, but it's
installed on my system. I do use SDL2 and SDL2_image. To be clear, G++
compiles my project fine. Clang++ does not. It spits build errors very
similar to this
Sad story.
This bug should be critical as it has large security impact. Encryption should
be the norm.
It shall be possible to install an encrypted (k)ubuntu without being techy.
