[Bug 1581402] Re: WebGL crashes the Chrome web browser

2022-02-01 Thread Zbych
Hello Paul,

Fortunately I didn't wait 6 years for your response and used nvidia
graphics instead :-)

[Bug 1511674] Re: Memory leak

2015-11-02 Thread Zbych
Yes, the problem is that pcscd's memory consumption is growing over time. It
doesn't matter if I stop my application or not.
I made the test again and after a minute, memory consumption increased from
22000kB to 28236kB

Thank you very much. It works!
Is there any chance to backport this fix to LTS version of Ubuntu?

[Bug 1511674] [NEW] Memory leak

2015-10-30 Thread Zbych
Public bug reported:

I noticed that pcscd consumes a lot of memory (5GB after 48h since start) in
one of my computers (ubuntu 14.04 64-bit pcsc-lite version 1.8.10.)
In debug mode pcscd shows a lot of USB "device removed" notifications:

0102 hotplug_libudev.c:594:HPEstablishUSBNotifications() Device removed
1297 hotplug_libudev.c:269:get_driver() Looking for a driver for VID:

CMD_GET_READERS_STATE from client 5
00500341 winscard_svc.c:319:ContextThread() Received command:
CMD_GET_READERS_STATE from client 5

Flood of "device removed" messages was caused by some broken USB device
(not card reader - CDC-ACM device), but it doesn't explain why pcscd
allocated 5GB of memory. Is it some memory leak in pcscd?

[Bug 439448] Re: visual corruption affecting several panel applets

2010-06-10 Thread Zbych
Instead of pkill gnome-panel gnome-panel as someone suggested I just
do:

  killall gnome-panel

 in Startup Applications. (it was also suggested by someone previosuly)

The gnome-panel will restart by itself and this works fine - I just see
all the time proper icons. I do not have anymore mess.

However I want to mention this is not sollution to this bug. It is just
silly workaround as it seems that all icons works when the gnome-panel
is restarted. Just often there is a mess with icons only at first
initial starting of gnome-panel.

[Bug 439448] Re: notification area shows wrong icons. erratic behaviour

2010-01-23 Thread Zbych
The same here - the sound volume icon is duplicated and shown instead of
nm-applet icon.
killall gnome-applet or killall nm-applet; nm-applet fix it so I can start
using wireless.
Restarting sometimes helps - but it is really random behaviour
I have 9.10 Ubuntu - installed from scratch so I do not think I have problems
with conf files.
