Touchpad is gone unresponsible after a few minutes of usage.
I was also unable to switch it on and off with Fn+F8
(The small red trackpoint is still usable.)

I got similar problems using single monitor configuration, just after upgraded
my ATI card driver to the latest AMD propietary driver (12.2). Compiz used
50-80% of my CPU.
Before I used AMD propietary driver (12.1) without experiencing this problem.
So I consider this as a regression.

I just experienced a crash indicator-application-service crashed with SIGSEGV
in g_object_unref() using Oneiric (11.10) AMD64 and Unity 2D.
I'm not sure if this is the same bug.
It happened only first time, no it would be really hard to reproduce.

As far as I understand this bug was fixed in Precise. (See milestone:
unity 5.4.0 Brass Monkey in the header of this thread.)
In Oneiric which has unity version 4.28.0-0ubuntu2 it is not fixed yet.

Same problem here. (Using Oneiric, 64 bit.)
Actually the 3G modem is SWITCHED OFF by a HW switch.
(If it is necessary I could check if this problem also happens if the HW swith
is ON.)

I have the same situation as D. Hugh Redelmeier (except my Oneiric is updated
from Natty)
and I agree with Him in the followings :

Same problem here with a very different config.
Problem :
- switching to console input (hit Ctrl + Alt +F1) results garbage on the screen
(console input still works, I can log in run commands in a blind mode)
- no graphical plymouth shown during boot or shutdown
Config :
Dell Optiplex GX60 PC
I also have problems mainly with KDE applications under Unity. I'm using
Krusader and Kile.

Reinstalling flashplugin-installer package using Synaptic package manager
solved the problem on Natty.

With previous Acrobat reader it worked properly.
I could save any programs with Firefox to directories, located on a
mounted ntfs or FAT32 partition, but could not save any files with
Acrobat Reader into them.
Affected lines from /etc/fstab :

I have the same problem with totally different hardware (IBM R40 laptop
with DVD-ROM). With kernel 2.6.27-11 the DVD-ROM doesn't recognised.
With kerel 2.6.24-23 everything works fine.
