Just tried on a Dell Latitude E4300. Unmounting the SD card is enough
for me. After doing so, suspend/resume works perfectly!! With the card
mounted suspend fails as described in the bug description.

Black screen + freeze when suspending or hibernating with mounted SD Card
Copy the attached file to /etc/pm/sleep.d/ so mmcblk devices (SD cards) are
unmounted before the system is suspended. While the underlying bug is solved,
this works fine for me.
PS: Don't forget to grant execution rights to the file

This issue was solved on my laptop some time ago. SD cards are mounted

-I solved the menus problem disabling texture tiling with driconf
application
-Menus started to work fine but the landscape was not rendered
correctly
-Then I deleted ~/.config/Trolltech.conf to solve the landscape

NetworkManager used to detect most phones I connected to my PC, so I
could use them as Mobile Broadband modems. But today, after updating the
system, they are not recognized by NetworkManager anymore. The kernel
detects the device correctly and ttyACM0 is added. I can communicate
with the phones
Using ubuntu 9.10 (amd64) on two laptops and sometimes flash videos are
not played correctly. It happens with most youtube embedded videos,

The same happens here. Tryed to update from Kubuntu 8.04 to 8.10 and the
upgrade tool crashed silently (after updating the apt sources.list file).

clocksource=hpet prevents kernel panic on my Latitude D420.
but something is still happening because in the same situation I loose my right
mouse button. After restarting xserver everything works well again, until I let
my laptop go idle again, where I loose my right button again. Symptom are
Same bug on my Latitude D420 with 2.6.24-16-generic. Kernel panic fixed
with clocksource=hpet parameter as is said on Bug #190414. Symptom not
fixed and I loose my right button when it happens.

I get the same output and it behaves as described. Sound also stalls for
1 or 2 seconds when computer is idle for a while without touching
anything.
dmesg output:

The Alt+TAB does not work (never did). The other shortcuts works fine.
