[Bug 669535] Re: desktop mysteriously freezes until keyboard or mouse input
I had a similar effect on an AMILO Pi 2550 (Intel T8100 Core 2 Duo processor). The problem was not related to X, but seems to be caused by problems associated with deeper sleep states of the processors (BIOS bug?). Adding processor.max_cstate=1 to the kernel boot parameters solved the issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/669535 Title: desktop mysteriously freezes until keyboard or mouse input To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fglrx-installer/+bug/669535/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 237306] Re: hisax isdn network broken
Same problem here with linux-image-2.6.24-19-generic; isdn networking does not work at all since ipppX interfaces can't be configured. The patch mentioned above is part of the stable kernel series (included in 2.6.24.6) and helps for me. -- hisax isdn network broken https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/237306 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
