I have the same issue with the Razer Blade 15 2022 model. When waking up
from suspend, it fixes the CPU to 400 MHz. Uninstalling thermald and
installing the openrazer drivers solved it for me.

I upgraded my Ubuntu 20.04 LTS to 22.04 LTS using do-release-upgrade -d command
on 2022/05/20
And then my external monitor, who worked well before on 20.04 LTS, was never
able to connect.
Everytime I try to connect it, set Joint Displays and press apply on the

to turn on the onscreen keyboard in the universal access settings.

trying to overwrite '/usr/share/xul-ext/ubufox/defaults/preferences
Seems params are incorrectly passed to the (deprecated) encoder in default use
(ffmpeg version 0.8.3-4:0.8.3-0ubuntu0.12.04.1)
Uncheck the default checked checkbox (in menu edit/preferences) use ffmpeg
instead of mencoder should bypass the problem.
The error dialog spit out by devede does not
Just to round this off.
The release version of 12.04 installs fine on both of our HP Proliant DL
585 G7 servers. One has the original firmware and one has the latest
firmware.

I woke up this morning to discover I can not log into Pidgin using my
main AIM account. I can log into Pidgin with every other account I have

Updating the firmware on the HP Proliant DL 585 G7 server was a fairly
complex operation. The following describes the steps taken by my
colleague to update the firmware:

Performed a firmware upgrade on the HP Proliant DL 585 G7 server. Both
BIOS and storage controller. That seems to have solved the problem.
Installing the 12.04 beta2 server without problems.
I have attached the output from dmesg on the server after the firmware
upgrade.
I am not entirely clear

Using retain_after_close may work as a temporary work around, but it
does not fix the bug.
The fact that using retain_after_close will prevent the clearing of the
credentials cache on login is a strong hint that to what the bug is. It
now seems very likely that 'lxdm' is closing the just created

Just to elaborate on the quick fix for those using Kerberos.
As has been posted by several others, you can drop to the console and
kill the gnome-shell process, start a new gnome-shell and return to your
desktop.
If you are using Kerberos you should remember to set the KRB5CCNAME
environment
