i just quick and dirty install the kernel 5.11.0-20-generic to test, if this problem also accours. It doesn't. [Bug 1970133] [NEW] Can't resume from standby
Public bug reported: On my notebook, when i do a break, i close the cover. After few minutes i open the cover again: the standby LEDs are blinking which means, the notebook are in standby. But after open the covert, nothing happens. Any key press dosnt change anything. Public bug reported: When i shutdown (Apr 23 23:15), it seems everything powered of except the keyboard lights. Then, i try to power on again, but, nothing happened because the notebook are still powered on. So, it's never powered off correctly? Now i force power off (Apr 23 23:20). It is the Blue-Tooth Driver. I Got This Too on my Acer Aspire F5-573 series "Laptop" There is a sticker that says "Intel i-5 core" Know amd is a possablity ? I Do not think My Processor Is an amd? Also It set my Screen Res to like 1377x768 (Its a 6k screen) 17" screen When I was On Windows "Yes I had to switch off Windows Because my Windows 11 os failed" It was installed When I installed viurtalbox or kodi. It is like a nightmare. I lost function of my usb 1.0 driver. It installs a pnp driver that do not exsist. The pnp Driver is a printer driver that is pointing to your desktop. I Think This Is a Virus That is effecting other systems like My Self. This seems to be a recurrent and intermittend problem. I have just run into it again, installing Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Server. One one box, no problem, on the other fail. In some attempts it fails at the beginning, in others after download of a few fonts. I've also observed this. Over ~5 to 7 hours, caja version 1.20.2 memory usage reaches 2.5 or 3GB on Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic x86_64. Shortly after installation, I went into update- manager->Settings->Updates and unselected everything except for "Important security updates". This seemed to be the cause of the problem I was observing (may not be the case for others). This prevents the installation of g++, gcc-multilib, g++-multilib among others. gcc can still be installed but it can only generate binaries that don't depend on libc. that's really strange. I use ubuntu 12.04 and firefox just shows the error from #comment 2 whenever I delete the ~/.cache/mozilla. So, the thing is that I've removed everything from ~/.cache/mozilla/firefox/profileName/ and firefox starts ok. It was closed. I've just reproduced the bug to get this screenshot. Recreating the ~/.cache/mozilla folder doesn't help.
