Tux Commander should send file to Trash rather than permamently

Currently, pressing F8 results in the complete deletion of a file or a
directory which may result in a permanent data loss. It is safer to
instead move the file to Trash rather than deleting it.

it does not occur every videos at all but some of them.
also i realized that sometimes firefox completly frozen if you click one
controller. if you switch off the visual effects, then everything works fine.

My thin client gets an incorrect X configuration during boot, and consequently
fails to load ldm.
A gutsy live cd on the same computer generates a correct xorg.conf file.
Ltsp should use the same routines to generate the xorg.conf file as does
the live cd so that problems
I also think there is something fishy going on with the language
extensions to Firefox supplied by Ubuntu. After installing Turkish and
Bulgarian language support, I can no longer install any add-ons from the
mozilla site. The extension manager simply refuses to install them. Very
frustrating...

The path is not mounted before log in, and actually the windows partition does
not get mounted even after I log in until I click on it in
Places-Computer-WinXP. Gutsy requires an administrative password to mount it
(because it is an internal vs external disk), in Feisty I think it used

I am confused as to what happens to /etc/dhcp3/dhcpd.conf. I installed
Edubuntu on top of an ubuntu server which was also acting like a router
and a DHCP server. HOwever, as soon as I installed Edubuntu, my local
area connection got messed up, as the configuration file for the dhcp
server moved
I found the culprit for changing the configuration file. It is in
/etc.init.d/dhcp

the patch for /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules fixed the problem for
me. I used the alternate CD to install a command based distribution on an old
computer.

Thank you for your response. I restarted my laptop at least twice since
I made the changes in the preferences menu, however I still cannot
search through any of the folders the folders in my windows directory.
Is there any way to check which folders tracker has indexed?

My version is 0.6.2 from the ubuntu repository, I will wait until the
next version is added there, and let you know if the problem still
persists. Meanwhile, I will just move my pdf books to the ubuntu
partition to get them indexed.

Tracker does not seem to index folders on an NTFS partition.
I experienced the same installer hang at 5%. My workaround was to not to
set a mount point for my windows partition, and manually add it to
/etc/fstab once the installation is completed.
