I confirm this bug as well, this bug is since Natty, but has become more
severe in Oneiric, since mouse position does not reflect clicking
position any more.

I've tested again in oneiric and the bug is still there, so I'll leave
it open.
I think this bug is important because it prevents regular (unskilled)
users from installing Ubuntu and it's a door to potential new Ubuntu

I've installed the alpha version on my computer and after few updates
