[Bug 1761008] [NEW] light-locker messes up keyboard bindings after unlock
Public bug reported: If I lock my screen and then unlock it, keyboard bindings are messed up. For instance, "p" maps to "*", "ñ" to "-", etc. It seems to affect most of the right part of the keyboard only. The correct bindings return either after some random time (+10 minutes) or if I run xfsettingsd --replace ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 18.04 Package: light-locker 1.8.0-1ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 4.15.0-13.14-generic 4.15.10 Uname: Linux 4.15.0-13-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.9-0ubuntu2 Architecture: amd64 CurrentDesktop: XFCE Date: Wed Apr 4 00:11:09 2018 InstallationDate: Installed on 2018-01-26 (67 days ago) InstallationMedia: Xubuntu 16.04 LTS "Xenial Xerus" - Release amd64 (20160420.1) SourcePackage: light-locker UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to bionic on 2018-04-02 (1 days ago) ** Affects: light-locker (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug bionic -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1761008 Title: light-locker messes up keyboard bindings after unlock To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/light-locker/+bug/1761008/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1568211] Re: no UMS support in radeon module
I am facing the same issue. I have upgraded from Xubuntu 14.04 to Xubuntu 16.04 and I was greeted with a black screen just after my first reboot. I use a Radeon HD 5430 card with two monitors. Incidentally, I had to switch off one of them so that the Live USB from which I installed the upgrade would work. The problem, though, started with the reboot. This is the output of my uname -a: Linux tiramisu 4.4.0-21-generic #37-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 18 18:33:37 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux There are three ways in which I can "start" my computer: * Normal boot, which ends in a black screen. * Recovery mode, which, after selecting "continue boot", generates errors such as "*ERROR* no UMS support in radeon module!" above, defaults to VESA module (and poor resolution), and cannot manage two screens. I enclose the Xorg.1.log file for this method. * Recovery method and deleting the nomodesetting kernel option. After selecting "continue boot", I get a perfectly working environment: radeon module works, etc. I enclose the Xorg.0.log file for this method. ** Attachment added: "Corresponds to a "clean" boot" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1568211/+attachment/4645367/+files/Xorg.0.log -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1568211 Title: no UMS support in radeon module To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1568211/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 334594] [NEW] PIL package not available
Public bug reported: I made a fresh install of plone3-site package. Other packages such as zope2.10 and a version of python 2.4 were installed alongside. However, plone failed to start. The reason was that python2.4 lacked the PIL (python-imaging) package. It was installed under the official python version, though. I solved the problem by making a soft link from the python2.4 lib directory to the PIL directory under python2.6. [Bug 274631] Re: cron doesn't change schedule when system time is changed
Hello, Have you taken into consideration the comments on cron's man file concerning hour changes? I copy from my file below: Special considerations exist when the clock is changed by less than 3 hours, for example at the beginning and end of daylight savings time. If the time has moved forwards, those jobs which would have run in the time that was skipped will be run soon after the change. Conversely, if the time has moved backwards by less than 3 hours, those jobs that fall into the repeated time will not be re-run. Only jobs that run at a particular time (not specified as @hourly, nor with ’*’ in the hour or minute specifier) are affected. Jobs which are specified with wildcards are run based on the new time immediately. Clock changes of more than 3 hours are considered to be corrections to the clock, and the new time is used immediately. Would it be the case that your test has interferred with this rule? By how many hours have you changed the clock? -- cron doesn't change schedule when system time is changed https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/274631 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
