[Bug 504933] [NEW] BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 00000001
Public bug reported: Maybe it was just coincidence but I was installing the video drivers when the error occurred. Later I tried to install the drivers again and it worked. I did a clean installation of xubuntu on my new Laptop Studio 15 with an i7 processor. ProblemType: KernelOops Annotation: Your system might become unstable now and might need to be restarted. [Bug 486495] Re: package slapd 2.4.15-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 2
Hi Chuck I already fixed the problem. I found a compressed cn=config.ldif.gz file. I uncompressed that file and then the removal didn't fail. I guess that just adding the empty file won't work since it searches for the PID in the file. I forgot to say that I deleted one of the extra slashes in the sed command (the one that searches for the cn-config.ldif). -- package slapd 2.4.15-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 2 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/486495 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to openldap in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
