[Bug 504933] [NEW] BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at 00000001

2010-01-08 Thread diegoeche
Public bug reported:

Maybe it was just coincidence but I was installing the video drivers
when the error occurred. Later I tried to install the drivers again and
it worked. I did a clean installation of xubuntu on my new Laptop Studio
15 with an i7 processor.

[Bug 486495] Re: package slapd 2.4.15-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 2

2009-11-23 Thread diegoeche
Hi Chuck

I already fixed the problem. I found a compressed cn=config.ldif.gz
file. I uncompressed that file and then the removal didn't fail.

I guess that just adding the empty file won't work since it searches for
the PID in the file.

Regards
Diego.

2009-11-23 Thread diegoeche
I forgot to say that I deleted one of the extra slashes in the sed
command (the one that searches for the cn-config.ldif).
