I can confirm this behavior. Core 2 Quad / 8 GB RAM / Ubuntu 9.04 64Bit / ATI Radeon HD 3870 with fglrx Delay (100% cpu load) appears when using compiz in the following situations: - maximizing window - open minimized window from panel - resizing window Minimizing works fine.
