[Bug 371159] Re: Gigabit network speed lost after suspend/hibernate

2009-11-02 Thread dreadnod
My system is affected by the same bug. I'm using Jaunty and have the
same network chipset: RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet
controller

Maybe it's related to that kind of network controller?

[Bug 351186] Re: [ubuntu 9.04 beta]slow unminimizing with ati card and desktop effects enabled

2009-05-07 Thread dreadnod
@Dana Goyette

I can confirm that this patch helped. Don't know if it has any side
effects (except that described in Bug #254468) someone who knows
the code should have a look at it.

I'm going to attach the patch.

[Bug 351186] Re: [ubuntu 9.04 beta]slow unminimizing with ati card and desktop effects enabled

2009-05-04 Thread dreadnod
I can confirm this behavior.

Core 2 Quad / 8 GB RAM / Ubuntu 9.04 64Bit / ATI Radeon HD 3870 with
fglrx

Delay (100% cpu load) appears when using compiz in the following situations:
- maximizing window
- open minimized window from panel
- resizing window

Minimizing works fine.

No problems with metacity.

I've the same problem. I'm using a dual-head setup.
I'm going to attach my 'lspci -vvnn' and Xorg.log.0.
