using trusty. Installing kernels above 3.16 give warnings with nvidia and virtualbox kernel modules, using intel card I can boot the system without problems. One odd thing, system won't boot if anything plugged at USB3 port, no problem with USB2 ports. Removing nvidia and activating intel graphics (optimus card); and adding acpi=off boots with mouse connected to USB3, but as soon as I connect a pendrive usb3 dies.
