[Bug 1875532] Re: trying to compile gcc make build and getting errors

2020-07-15 Thread erio
I found this online:

"libm.a" is no longer a library, but rather a linker script including
two other library (libm2.31 and libmvec).

`_finite` math functions in GNU libc are versions of their simpler namesakes
which support gcc's `-ffinite-math-only` optimization. For example, where
`acosh()` has well defined behavior for infinities, the function
`__acosh_finite()` is a (presumably faster) variant to which it is not legal to
pass infinities.

Open Xenial 16.04 desktop (with Unity) , install pyqt5 using apt (sudo

shortcuts are not shown by the side and they don't work.

Uninstall python3-pyqt5, apt install python3-pip. Use pip3 install

shortcuts work.

[Bug 1625376] [NEW] Get required Snap interfaces from store

2016-09-19 Thread erio
Public bug reported:

This is an enhancement.

Similar to how Android has permissions, you can see which are the per
app requirements for working, and once you have installed, you can see
which permissions you gave to an app.

Right now you can only do the latter, using `snap interfaces snap_name`.

I believe it would be important to know upfront which
[Interfaces](http://snapcraft.io/docs/reference/interfaces) an app
requires upfront. I see
[snap/info.go](https://github.com/snapcore/snapd/blob/master/snap/info.go)
has info on plugs and slots. So basically the idea would be making this
information available to the user (exposed through an API) prior to
installing a snap.
