When I run the command: sudo apt-get purge mysql it gives me this error: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'sudo dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem. I then ran sudo dpkg --configure -a. it gave me this: dpkg: error processing mysql-server-5.1 (--configure): Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should reinstall it before attempting configuration. Errors were encountered while processing: mysql-server-5.1 I tried reinstalling it, but it did not work either. I cannot remove it either. Please help.
