I am using Debian Testing with 3.5.4 and also have very hard trouble
booting (one out of 20 times it works?). I had no problems with 3.5.0rc7
(+the WMI patch applied manually).

Dear all,
it seems you do not consider official (and checked) mirrors
automatically so that they are included in whatever Ubuntu uses to show
to the users which mirrors are available.
My first wish is: automate this properly!
My second wish: Please add ftp.halifax.rwth
