The problem is in how the drive is booted. There is the windows style
and the standard unix style. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable can

No read errors. It is unable to find something.
I did a chkdsk on the USB drive and it came back fine. No errors. I
re-downloaded the iso and loaded it again. Same thing. I then got
another known good USB drive, burned the second downloaded iso to it. I

I can confirm this. Mxit protocol functions perfectly with pidgin
(albeit throught a plugin.) Empathy supposedly supports Mxit but is

I'm using kde 4.1 and tilda 0.9.5pre. When I enable a transparency
window stays at a default colour set in the terminal. There is no
problem with transparency when I'm using kde 3.5.

Same error,.. I have full internet connection and I can see my network but when
I got to configure eth0
with a static IP number I get this device doe not exist and therefor can not
set a static number for it

(basically a USB drive) and uses the computer to charge it, repeated

Actually, you cannot bring anything into Firefox from an SMB share. It
is very, very, very, very annoying! You can also NOT save anything from

When I try to download applications or install updates it comes up with the
message, E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a'
to correct the problem.

This is kinda error I receive when I boot Pentium III 1.0 GHz 512 MB RAM
system from Ubuntu 7.04 CD. After selecting Start or Install option, I
get a command prompt message and then an Exception with EMask of 0xff

How to reproduce this error:
1. Make a new directory under /tmp with a Chinese name.
2. cd into this directory
3. use vi to open a new file
4. quit vi
