[Bug 1532790] Re: qgis crashes at startup since upgrading to wily

2016-01-11 Thread hilaire
I solved the problem on my own. The bug was due to a broken ecw driver after
wily upgrade. I just reinstalled ecw driver following those instructions and it
works again

[Bug 1532790] [NEW] qgis crashes at startup since upgrading to wily

2016-01-11 Thread hilaire
Public bug reported:

I recently upgraded from vivid to wily. Since then, qgis crashed at startup
with the following error in the command line. The crash occurs just after
displaying "installation de l'interface graphique" and then "vérification des
extensions prestataires"
Warning: QGraphicsScene::addItem: item has already been added to this scene
Erreur de segmentation (core dumped)
I tried to uninstall and reinstall, to delete ~/.qgis2 or to launch qgis using
the noplugins option and it did not change anything. The package version is
2.8.3+dfsg-1 from the repo.
I enclose the result from strace, valgind and backtrace

problems. However, when trying to book a resource when organizing a new

it seems that I was a bit optimistic. Using the calendar, I am not able to book

[Bug 578402] Re: crashes opening network file, leaves lock file

2010-05-19 Thread hilaire
Hi,
I can confirm that the workaround proposed by Brian (i.e.mounting the share via
'Nautilus-places-network') works for me. I am still not able to make it work
when mounting using fstab nor sudo mount -t: it seems that options nomand and
nounix are not taken into account:
if I mount a partition as follow
hila...@hilaire-desktop:~$ sudo mount -t cifs //machine/partition
/media/Sauvegarde -o
nounix,nomanduid=1000,gid=100,file_mode=0640,dir_mode=0750,iocharset=utf8,credentials=/root/.smbcredentials

the command mount returns

hila...@hilaire-desktop:~$ mount
 //machine/partition on  /media/Sauvegarde type cifs (rw,mand)

Moreover, the solution proposed by Mark, i.e. unzip and zip back problematic
files works only for some files.

Cheers

Hi again,

Great news: I solved my problem! The nomand option is not valid for
cifs, you have to use nobrl

in fstab
//machine/partition/media/Sauvegardecifs
nobrl,credentials=/root/.smbcredentials,uid=1000,gid=100,rw,iocharset=utf80
   0

with sudo mount

hila...@hilaire-desktop:~$ sudo mount -t cifs //machine/partition

nobrl,uid=1000,gid=100,file_mode=0640,dir_mode=0750,iocharset=utf8,credentials=/root/.smbcredentials

Hope that help!

[Bug 582287] [NEW] can't open openoffice files from network after upgrading to 10.04

2010-05-18 Thread hilaire
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Hi,
After upgrading to lucid from karmic, some (not all) openoffice documents
(either odp, ods or odt) can not be opened anymore from cifs network drive,
while they can be opened if copied on a local hard drive.
Openoffice crashed at startup with the following message

OpenOffice.org Document Recovery
Due to an unexpected error, OpenOffice.org crashed. All the files you were
working on will now be saved.
The next time OpenOffice.org is launched, your files will be recovered
automatically.
The following files will be recovered:

The problem occurs with both openoffice from the official repository and
debs from www.openoffice.org.

My network drives are mounted using fstab
//filer/epbx//media/Euros_EPBXcifs
credentials=/root/.smbcredentials,uid=1000,gid=100,rw,iocharset=utf800

If a problematic file is converted in xls, it is correctly opened by openoffice.
Moreover, by sliglhtly modifying (deleting a graph, and/or a column and/or
other things) problematic files on the local drive, and then copying back to
the network (with same permissions and owner), I can open them again, but I was
not able to find any systematic requirement.

I enclose three files:
notopened.ods: a ods file that I can't open from the network whereas it can be
opened on my local drive
opened.xls: the same file converted in xls which is successfully opened from
the network
opened.ods: the same file in which I delete the first column, and that can open
from the network

This bug has already be mentionned there
http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1477983 and there
http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?pid=3487233#p3487233 without any
solution.

I stay at your disposal for any further information.

Yours truly
