I can not even begin to describe how annoying and unneeded that change is, its
a step back in usability.
Just look at all the comments in the bugreport.
Revert this, and whoever signed off on that change should be spanked,

After upgrading to 9.04 my selfmade nautilus-action does not work anymore.
It is a simple extract action for file-roller with following params:
--extract-to=%d/.. %u
which should extract the file to the parent path, worked great in 8.10, gives
permission error in 9.04,
Turns out its nit %d, its a nautilus issue, it does not seem to return the
proper parent path to the script or whereever it returns the path.
Giving params __extract-to=.. wants to extract to /home/ insteat of
/home/myuser/path/to/filename/..
%d/.. as it seems wants to extract to / (not /home
After playing around a bit more it seems %d simply holds no value at
all, looking at the started process - file-roller --extract-to=
filename.rar is executed

For some reason update-grub stopped writing changes to menu.lst so i ended up
with an old kernel and did not realize.
Deleting menu.lst and let update-grub recreate it fixed that Problem.
CPU Scaling works with current kernel, sry for reporting this bug prematurely.

kernel, doing that manually fixes the problem. Still i think that grub

Ah thats majorly annoying, no idea why one would change something like
that, users are used to that for *years and years* now. I really do not

After upgrading to 8.10 mail notification doenst show systray icon on new mail
anymore.
I enabled the info output, which showed the app is logging in correctly and
getting the new mail header, but no systray icon is appearing.

It seems that mail-notification doesn't show mails as new when they are marked
as [SPAM] by the server.
Most of these messages are not spam tho (at least here) so mail-notification
wont notify me, can i disable this behavior, i want to get notifies for every
mail please.
