This bug is affecting me too. And notice that, the UBUNTU SOFTWARE
CENTER VERSION is 13.10, this isn't normal right? I think it's very easy
for developers to change its version.
And the TEXT while viewing the application being installed, its color is WHITE
LIKE ITS BACKGROUND!

And I notice ubuntu software center version is 13.10. I think developers
can change it easily and quickly.

I have remove boinc-client and related to it. But it seems it hasn't any
changes. Still 40 to boot up. I have this problem since the first time

I have installing ubuntu 14.04 beta2 and i have update it to latest. My
computer take 40 seconds for start up from displaying grub until
displaying LightDM on my SSD. My ubuntu 12.04 only takes up 13 seconds
for start up on the same SSD.

My laptop has dual ati 5650 and intel. In bios I swith into discrete
graphic (5650). It successfuly installed with fglrx-updates but not with
fglrx. But it seems has many problems, my desktop sometimes appear
glitches like projected bars. And with 13.04, it cannot be installed
with ati catalyst
I'm Using ubuntu precise and have that problem, fortunately I have
solved that issue! Try remove mouseemu in the synaptic/ ubuntu software
Center then Congratz! :D

Not only in the game (I'm playing Team Fortress 2), in the desktop also
very very laggy moving cursor when pressing keyboard. I don't know
exactly when this issue was appeared, but this happen after I'm changing
and updating my kernel, but when updating kernel also install other
update about X11.
I'm using Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS with current kernel 3.2.0-48.
When playing TF2, replug the mouse can resolve the issue at a while, but after
death, after not pressing keyboard and even still pressing keyboard, this is
issue appearing again, and I'm replugging again, but at a while happened again
