[Bug 1153041] [NEW] Plasma Widget shows empty wifi list. (Raring)
Public bug reported: The plasma widget for network connections shows an empty under available connections. (nm-applet shows the complete list, so it is not a problem with the wifi card). I cannot connect to a wifi via the widget because there is no item to choose from. But when I connect via nm-applet, the plasma widget recognizes that I am connected but still shows an empyty list of available wifi networks. ** Affects: plasma-widget-networkmanagement (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: raring -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1153041 Title: Plasma Widget shows empty wifi list. [Bug 647404] Re: Udev worker error during boot worker [XX] did not accept message -1 (Connection refused), kill it
I have no additional insight in fixing this bug, but at least it is possible to just hide it. I repeat: The following does not fix anything, just hides the error message. In Terminal enter: sudo -s echo FRAMEBUFFER=y /etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/splash update-initramfs -u This loads the framebuffer at start which hides the errors.
